Hi,

I have some strange noise at the front left of my car. There was already changed a part, it was some "carrying joint" (no idea if the translation is correct, just typed it into babelfish :D ). Now the noise is there again and I guess the part needs to be changed again :( All that after a few hundred kilometers. On the german Mini sites no one had this problem yet, so maybe you guys here know some more For now it seems that I will just change the part again and again and no one knows why.

The car has done 17000 kilometers and has a KW Variant 2 coilover kit installed which is in for about 4000km now.

 

I too am having noise from the front left. It does it when I down shift or am backing up - like out of my drive way/parking space. I have been told that it could be a CV joint or a ball joint. My dealer/SA told me to wait untill my next service 3200mi away. Car only has 9k mi. Isn't that comforting to know that they care that much?

Anyone else having this noise?
