Since they have windows (except the WRC) they dont need the nets

Must get hot in there with the windows up.
The driver in the Ferrari did hurt his foot. (No foot or leg nets).
Seriously, I'm glad nobody was hurt.

When I watched the race on Speed, noticed a P1 or a P2 in-car camera shows the driver without a Hans type device. You can see the attachment hardware on the helmet, but no Hans.
I would not do it.

That is very odd, the HANS is mandatory in IMSA events. I agree, you should have a HANS when you race.
