HI, I have a 2004 mini with 34,000 miles on it.The other day when i was driving to work it did not have good pickup. Then the rpms started to go just over 3 and would stay there. I did stop and start again and it was ok for a minute then the rpms shot up again. By the time I got to work I noticed that the EP light was on.(this is where the reverse, neutral ,drive, light is on the dash).I did have it towed down to prestige mini in nj. whole different story there)..They said it was the control panal and they have to replace it. I asked why it would go..car not that old..i really did not get an answer from them..I was wondering if this was a problem with others with the same or if anyone has any thoughts about this.thanks..
