Are you watching videos while in traffic? Do you have mp3s on it that play into the stereo? I can see a use.

Unless the traffic is so bad that your car is turned off, you shouldn't be watching anything other than that which is going on around you.

A PSP GPS receiver will soon be released. I don't know if there is any plan for useful navigation software, but somehow it is supposed to interface with HotShots golf...

That looks sweet!

I would really like one of those. Can you give more details about it? Thanks.

GPS interface would be cool if it was functional for driving! I've got a PSP I hardly ever use and that would make it useful!

Because its a MINI and it is mine! Seriously I use my PSP for all sorts of stuff ie; web browsing,MP3,Photo slide shows, movies and of course games. To me it looks ultra cool when I slide into my high tech cockpit. Raynmsmith it correct about the GPS but for now when I sit near a local hotspot I pick up emails on the go.

I sold my sidekick due to bad service so its nice to get emails on the go. Had the side kick had blue tech I would have kept it but it did not.

You can get this set up at best buy
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1118845473610

or if you are military the PX has them on close out.

The mount also sticks to the rearview mirror with a lever suction device. I know why would I want to do that? So I can watch movies on the road with an occasional glance. The PSP is shiny enough to work as a rearview mirror.

Darn MINI owners it takes all kinds, Weird huh.

How do you web browse in your car? You got some satellite feed on the roof?

Watch movies while driving? Play games?

And just curious, what "high tech cockpit". MINI dashs are Retro like the 1950s, high tech?

No satellite its WiFi you only need be near a hot spot complete with RSS downloads much like an ipod but mine does more.

As for high tech you have to understand prior to MINI ownership I had a plymouth laser for 14 long years, trust me its high tech IMHO. Truth be told the kids watch more than I do I just listen to the movies similar to a really bad audio book.

But for WIFI you got to be in a hot spot. How do you do that trucking on down the road?

I think we are getting side tracked this is really about choice. Rejoice another choice for the MINI. If you like it get one if not well.. do not.

I just wanted to pass along yet another cool idea for MINI owners.

You are correct I must be in a hot spot Now to get the PSP FM Tranmitter for my Family Guy UMD collection.

Enjoy and if you see me comming run away I may not be paying attention to the little yellow lines on the HWY.
