Hello fellow NAM members!

I've been in love with the Mini for a LOOOOONG time. Recently, I decided I need a new car. (I had a Del Sol Si with the infamous squeaky and leaky roof for 4 years. It's a nice small commuter car.) I'm hesitant of forking over 30k+ for a MCS because it's such a huge commitment.

1. What kind of problems (aside from the $_$ cost of parts and the actual MCS) have you had with the car? Do you have any regrets with buying the mini?

I'm thinking of getting a red '06 MCS with the JCW and sport package. Does anyone here recommend getting a used MCS? Is it possible to get "the works" without getting a sports or checkmate package?
