mmmmm, donuts

This is possibly a stupid question. In fact, it really should be, but i can't find the answer anywhere in the manual/etc.

When you put the donut on, lets say, after a flat, where are you expected to store the now-punctured full size wheel+tire? I really don't think it will fit in the spare storage area, and in the trunk is bad for me for two reasons:
1) MCC - no space!!!
2) i like my car to stay clean!

anyone know what to do? Want to know this before i NEED to know this.

thanks!

If you have a storage cubby in the boot area, I would stash a large garbage bag there to put your full size wheel/tire in.

(I've been meaning to take my own advice on that point, but haven't yet)

Don't use the spare; call for service.

Just leave the flat tire on the side of the road and buy a new wheel and
tire when you get home.

Well, you asked.

I have a big lawn/leaf bag stored in the back...along with a mag light just in case!

You could drive some long lug bolts up through your bonnet, so that you could carry it there if need be (you know, Land Rover style). You could even put the donut there now for looks.
