My Mini hiding from the HAIL!
Here are some pics of my Mini hiding from the Hail that ripped through the Chicago land area this afternoon. I was at work standing out front watching the storm roll through with a couple of my sales people when the hail started to fall. All of my employees know how obsessed I am with my car, so none of them were surprised when I took off running to move her. I whipped her around and drove up under the overhang in front of my store... all was well! Ah the joys of driving a tiny tiny car! Enjoy the pictures, my employees have already picture messaged them out to everyone in the region so everyone can have a good laugh!

The hail storm passed me while I was at work too. I didn't know it happend until someone mentioned it. A few minutes later, my wife calls and I can hear the hail over the phone
and she was inside the house
Now THAT's HAIL!!!

I checked my MCC and all is well.

Its 11:19pm, and I'm still getting TXT msg's from people in my region..... I’m still laughing though; the image of myself running like a soldier jumping the rampart to grab a fallen comrade is to funny!
yeah, i got nicked a little while walking into class, but it was warm enough to pretty much melt upon impact, more like ***** of rain
watching that huge wall of black clouds was amazing though, it dropped like 15 degrees and got about 12 mph more winds as soon as the wall was right above me.

This is a great idea! I'll be driving home from FL to CA next week, and have to travel from Shreveport to Amarillo, which is hail country, so I will be ready!
