Hey,
Just thought that I would post this. The other day I was out at the airport to fly my personaly aircraft, and going around the corner to my hanger there was two other MCS's. I have seen pictures of one of them, it is Electric Blue with white roof and it has some crazy flames. The other one was a Light silver and black. There was another one at another hanger and it was randy's (RandyBMC). It turned out that he was the test pilot of a new kind of aircraft called the adam A500 (very nice). I started to get to know randy and all about him. Great guy.

Well I do not know if that is a good or bad thing. 4 MINI's in one place, not a show or dealer, sounds like too many to me but thats just me. I just drove from Melbourne Fl. 2 Houston Tx. and back this week and did not see one MINI but when I got back in Melbourne I saw 3 in the first hour. It is cool to see others out on the road and there are 10-15 here in town now, 5 that I see every week. I guess you can't have too much of a good thing or can you? If it gets to the point where there is one at every light , I will sell mine. I just dont like to pull up 2 a light and be next 2 the same car. So if you live in Melbourne and are going to get a MINI dont get an indy blue/white S with s lites OK.

It can never get as bad as the Subarus, though. Was out looking around for a used car for my 18 year old son and at the Subaru dealer we saw 30 nearly identical (all same paint, some had some minor variations on emblems) Subaru wagons in a row. I would never be able to find my vehicle in the parking lot if it was the same as everyone else's.

word. my mom just got a new corolla (still thinking about legally divorcing her about that, hehe) but i see like five of them on a daily basis, and it scares the hell out of me. i'm always afraid my mom will see me driving quick or something.

Nobody's mentioned the Honda civic yet? When I was in High School, for every 10 car's ther were like 6 to 8 honda civic's.

MINIs = Love. The more MINIs, the better - if you ask me.

I went to my first gathering of MINI owners this weekend...probably 15-20 cars all in a row. I felt like I was in some kind of parallel universe or alternate reality...so many MINIs in one place! We talked and talked...then had dinner...and talked...it was great. Then I drove home. Back to reality......not a MINI in sight since. Not one. Weird feeling!

I'm all about uniqueness, but at least minis driver have a love for the car and acomrodary found in few other automobiles, I think that uniquesness along with the various color combos, mods, makes seeing another mini on the road like seeing someone with the same, suit,, in a "hey buddy I like your style" kinda way. plus one more mini means one less big (every truck looks the same) honking navigator on the road and cheaper gas at the pump and theres a good practical reason if you want one.
