Calling all Pepper Whites attending MOTD 2006....

Lets all get together and have a group photo taken of all of us this year at the Dragon! We talked about this in our peerage thread, now it's time to formalize it.

We need to determine the when and the where. I've listed a few suggestions for the when, but unfortunately I have no clue regarding the where - this will be my first time to the Dragon. If you reply to this post, please indicate your availability. If you know a great location for the shot, please tell us

Depends on when for me. Saturday AM is out due to autocross. I am leaving on a small group drive to Highlands just after the parade Friday. Parade launch area will be a zoo Friday AM.

At the bottom of Fontana dam just prior to the Farewell dinner would be a possibility for me.

I'll watch and see what the consensus is.

 

Awwww... We PW/PW are getting left out again?

I guess that is the price we pay for relative exclusivity.

 

I'm in the same boat, and I'd love to be in the pic. We're leaving Saturday AM, so Saturday is out completely for us. I've never been to the Dragon before, either, so I don't know what to suggest for location.

I'm in!! Sat late afternoon is fine... I'm signed up for the first scenic group Saturday.

 

Depending on the time I'm in. I don't have a lot of Pepper White left due to the racing graphics, but it's under there somewhere . I'll also be at the autocross on Saturday so all depends on time.

 

With a couple of PWer's doing autocross and myself (and possibly others) doing the scenic drive on Saturday, I think Saturday afternoon will not be a viable possibility

Looking at the events calendar, there might be time on Friday for us to get together

I know some of us will be at the Brew Swap (also on Friday), that's a possibility. And for those going to the Chili Cook Off, maybe before heading down there we can meet at in the village for a quick snap.

Awww! No Love for the PW/PW (or PW/PW/PW as I call Jango)!

I've got the VIN for a PW/B MCS that my dealer mis-ordered... they got everything right but the roof color! It was almost mine, but I just couldn't do it! I needed the all PW to make the arches work!

 

If you guys want to show up around 9:40 on Saturday before the Scenic Drive, I'll take the picture for you. There should be plenty of room at the base of the dam where we will be launching.

Well... the PW/B club has just become the PW club...

Any takers on my proposed 9:40am group shot on Saturday?

 

At least two of us will be at the autocross at 8AM. I don't think you will be able to work out a time where someone doesn't have a conflict. Busy weekend with many choices. I would recommend picking a time and going with it regardless.

 

Although Saturday is wide open for me (I've decided to wing it just for giggles) it looks like Friday may be the day best for most folks. I will do whatever y'all need if I can help!

Good suggestion queenB Too many things to do I'll leave it open for suggestions/preferences till Saturday then pick a time. But the way it looks at the moment is that we'll take the picture right before the brew swap BBQ on Friday.

If you guys are now including all PWs (including PW/PWs), you should probably ask the forum moderators to rename the thread, to attract more PW/PW owners. I'd do it for you if I could... I have some juice here in the MOTD forum but not that much!

The brew-swap BBQ runs from 5:30 until 7 at the building where check-in to the resort used to happen (I think it's now at the inn). I don't think there is much parking there, however...

This isn't my thread and I don't want to presume to make a decision for the group, but I might suggest 5:30 on Friday at the base of the dam... take a few pics and then adjourn to the Brew Swap BBQ, for those of us who are going to it.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I haven't heard a location / time /date named, so I'm gonna throw one out there...

 

Would it be a prob to make it a bit earlier? My husband and I will be manning the cooker at the SwapBBQ and I hate to ditch him with the duties? No biggie if not, maybe a spare NAMer could drive El Kabong over to the photo spot for me?

Sorry, I was very, very swamped at work today - no chance to surf

agranger - no problems - no toes stepped on!! Thanks for the suggestion on a place. How about a compromise...

4 pm -> 5:00 (or 5:15) pm at the base of the dam

I'll be there then at 4pm and who ever can make it, there will be at least one other PW there, mine

 

I'll be test driving my new 15% pulley, so i'll be there! (unless Eric is running late, I have a 2pm appt with Dr MINI )
