Hey - any of you guys ever messed with SU Carbs before? I could use some help making sure the '71 is running correct. ...probably wouldn't hurt to check the timing either, but I've never done that. I know it involves a flashy light. 
(sigh) I guess since I'm joining the club it means I'm going to have to take pictures for you guys, huh? :D

I know there are at least a few guys out there who have messed with 'em before. I just gotta lure you out of the woodwork.
Right now the only thing I have with twin SUs (1.25") is the Cooper S. The '71 has a single 1.25, but I have a 1.5" for that (with manifolds) also. The "new" A+ 1275cc engine is going to be single carb I think. Gotta get the work done on the '71 and put it back up for sale. Then I should know how much money I have to work on the '66.
