a slow leak, it sounds like. Have the tire re-mounted, and if it continues, buy a new tire from Dan at Tire Rack (dealership is overpriced)

Good luck

IS TIRE RACK in the Wash, DC area? Anyone know a good place to take a tire to for remouting? I live in Arlington, Virginia. My dealer is less than helpful to say the least.

Check your valve stem. The mechanism inside the stem might be loose, it can be tightened with the right tool.

I have the Dunlop run flats. I got a nail in one and had it plugged. That held up for about 2 months. I then went in to have it patched on the inside at my local tire shop. After taking the tire off they found I had a cut on the inside about 4 inches long which wasn't noticable from the outside. Needless to say after the nail I have no recourse. Maybe have a look on the inside. If the valve stem doesn't check out.

dbMINI - If it turns out you have a leak you can always have it repaired (as long as it is in the tread area). A few months after I got my car I had a flat from a screw in my right rear tire. Took it to a tire shop and they repaired it for $7.00. I'm still running on that tire (21,500 + miles) without any problems.

Unfortunatly we're not in the DC area, but you can use THIS to help you locate an installer
