This came off an '03 and I was wondering if it would fit on an '06. Do I need to modify it or will it bolt right up?

The hangers are different between early and later model models.

Some people have simply bent the hangers 90 degs, others have cut and re-welded the hangers on

I just installed my Milltek on my 2004 MCS.

The way I understand it is, there are hangers on the inside of each of your mufflers, and ones on the ouside of each muffler.

The INSIDE hangers are different for the '02 through '04 models, compared to the '05 and '06 models.

Luckily, the exhaust includes hardware that works for both of these models. You just simply bolt the correct ones on, then continue with your install.

Once you have removed the stock hangers, you'll be able to tell which ones to use with your Milltek just by looking at them.

Right, the inner hangers on late 04s - today need to face inward. It looks like that version of the Milltek you have has welded on inner mounts. I have seen a few newer ones that come with 2 sets of mounts that can be bolted on to fit the car.

Sorry, I just noticed from your second post in this thread, that the exhaust you have does not have removable hangers on the inside, they're welded on.

The only way to tell for sure if they will match up with your stock rubber mount, would be to shimmy underneath your car, remove the aluminum skid plate thingy, and take a look up to your stock hangers. If the posts coming off your stock mufflers point straight towards the back of your car, (parallel to the exhaust system), then chances are you could get this Milltek to work...

But on my car, those posts pointed toward the center of the car, (perpendicular to the exhaust system).

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm trying to figure out how people are bending it 90 degrees to fit. Wouldn't it have to be 180 degrees and wouldn't it drastically fatigue the metal?

Yup. 180 is too much unless you heat & cool it carefully.

I think you need a picture of an 06 setup, a stocker would do, just to see what needs to hanger happen happy fit.
