can't afford to do both right now....which way would you go for a mostly street/twisties car?

gearbox, for a street car, no need to push the limits of your car, you already have a lot of mods, should have plenty of power.

it is really just second gar that is too tall out of the corners.......

You can see my choice in the sig. The gearing will actually add far more driving pleasure than a lot of extra power, especially if you like driving the twisties. The new trans makes it feel like a totally different (far superior) vehicle. More power just makes it feel like a stronger version of the same car.

You can always add the twin-t later when $$ permit. The tranny is a better investment for the $$.
