The real fact is that people like to complain more then they like to say nice things. I have posted 2 or 3 threads when I have a problem with my car. However the problems have been minor. If I were to post everyday about how fun the car was the day before, or what problems I had the day before, you would see 250 great fun posts, and 3 bad posts. It is not the human way to post the 250 great posts, but it is human to post the 3 bad ones. If you polled every car owner in the world, you will find problems with every car. However I do not think there are web sites where people chat about Toyata Camrys or Ford Escapes.

So I challange everyone who is here today to reply to this and tell the world if they had fun in their Mini yesterday or of they had a problem!

I had a great day in my MINI yeasterday. Gave her a bath, and then went for a fun ride!

I am also having fun with my new MCS ... I love the little things, like how well the rain sensing wipers handle when I drive through Boston tunnels

And I got a thumbs-up from a big pick-up driver yesterday!

Great day with Chilly!!

We (Chilly and I) flew literally flew up the I-270. Almost got caught by the cops, but a great ride all the same. The ride back on the I-495 was just as great probably better. Good fellow drivers on a Sunday night. Got a racing proposition from a Civic, but I don't race, I just love what this car can do when you ask it to.

What a great little car. I've had my share of problems, but I can't say that my enthusiasm has dimmed.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to say something good about her.

Lolo

I had a great weekend motoring in my MINI! I now select my weekend errands based on both need and on "motoring opportunity." Sometimes I turn off the CD player just to listen to the engine. The car's smooth as silk...accelleration, shifting, braking, manuvering...just a joy. Whatever I ask the car to do, it just cheerfully complies and then smiles right back at you, inviting your next request! Then there's the pointing and gawking...and great conversations with people young and old who also love the car! Thanks MINI for bringing us such great motoring moments!

I had a great weekend of motoring as well! In fact, it was my first weekend of Motoring! Saturday, went to my brothers to let him see/drive. He has a modified Focus ZX3 looking to move up to an SVT. Well, I'm not sure he will ever be satisfied with a Focus of any type again! Even though I'm still short-shifting to keep it below 4500 rpm for break-in, he could tell this is a special car. Definitely in the way it handles too!! Oh Yeah!!!!!

Took a drive to Wal-Mart yesterday!! Any excuse to take the MINI out for a spin is a good one!

P.S. One fully loaded Wal-Mart cart = full MINI boot area + full back seats!

I had no fun in my MINI this weekend. I was stuck at home with the flu. But I did peek outside to admire her every so often. Just seeing my baby made me feel better. Gosh, I missed her.......

I just want to add that ALL cars have issues, even toyotas and hondas, some brands more than other, but all cars do. The perfect car doesn´t exist.

Now going to an enjoyable ride on Mini. Last week I took a new road to work through the Chapultepec park (the "central park" of Mexico City). I was pretty much the only car, and all the roads crossing the park are full of curves, going up and down hill and with some challenging turns.

I haven´t had so much fun with a car in a long time. The Mini just loves to take the curves as fast as possible, and with a little effort you can actually get the tail to loose up a little. Combine this fun with a beautiful landscape, and that´s all you can ask to make your day (a happy day).

The sad side of this story? On my way back home later at night I got stuck in the traffic for over 1 hour. Poor Mini.

I went to my friend's house to watch the season premiere of Six Feet Under last night and got a racing proposition from a Camaro... but I didn't take them up on it.

Plus, there's SUN today after about 19 days without any... It's a good day!

So out of 11 responses, we had 9 great days with the MINI, 1 sick person but they looked at their MINI and smiled, and one with problems.
Like I thought, there more fun then problems with the MINI!!!!

The mercury hit 40 yesterday in Boston, so my car was off to the self-serve car wash, and back home for a vacuuming and all-over leatherette and plastic treatment. I was scared to drive afterward because all the melting snow is creating huge rivers of salty water across the streets. I did take some pictures, though, and am hoping to finally get a couple into the members gallery and into my sig.

And by the way, when I was cleaning the passenger seat, a pretty girl jogged by and said "Nice car!" Can't beat that.

2800 miles and not a single problem, other than hating the auto A/C, but that's just a design flaw, not a malfunction.

ROTFL.

I'm just as bad. I could be doing absolutely nothing and then something comes over me and I say "zoom zoom" out loud. My husband looks at me like I'm a quack

I'm yet another HAPPY HAPPY Motorer!!! I drove my MINI all over the city this weekend without a single problem <gasp!>!!!

Maybe I'm just lucky when it comes to cars, my former car, a Ford Escort, NEVER had a problem in the 6 years years I drove it, not even a hiccup...OK, I had to replace the headlights like 3 times, but big deal. I fully expect my MINI to be the same.

Last weekend I was chased down by a man in a parking lot who wanted to know about my car. This weekend I saw a snooty woman that I know and she complimented my "cute little car"!!!

Life in a MINI is Good!

Kecia, have I ever mention that my MINI is perfect?

My Cooper is a very BAD car. It's the baddest car I've ever owned. Of course, that's "bad" as in good. Way good.
Bad Motor On...
