2006 MCS build up by Toyz Autoart

A good friend of mine Avo Aboulian is a well known retailer for most high end vehicles in and around montreal. He also represents Davin wheels Canada. He decided to take on a new project: A 2006 Mini cooper S. With just 3000 Miles on it its already been torn apart for new Dupont Hot Hues candy apple tri-coat paint with the first and only Ac-Schnitzer body kit is north american (so were told this was the prototype and isnt even in production yet. So heres a few pictures. You can see the Twon tone magnum in the background which is also his. I could also post up his Z06, ML55, A4 and other various cars we have at our shop.

Enjoy and comments are welcome. This is just the start and ill be updating the thread as the car goes forward.

I don't know if anyone has bought it before, but I had seen that ACS bodykit available from them some time ago. I have mixed feelings about it, not bad in some ways but in other ways homely. (I have watched ACS kits getting uglier and uglier over the years - really, the new ones for the Bangled Bimmers are terriflying hideous whereas before many were very nice.)

The color is hot and overall the car is nice as its custom - however I personally would like to see a contrasting roof in the Mini spirit, its so monotone now like any regular car. Perhaps some graphics will be added?

PS: Check out the ACS site for the cool retro fabric roof - I'd forgotten about that

Since I'm there here are other pics of the kit:

Looks like it removes much needed PDC in the 'vert

Different rear on the hatch, looks better IMHO with the bottom part black:

Really nice color, and the same on the interior is sharp.
I like the attempt at the chrome grill surround, but it's too big now.

That's the color I wanted to re-do mine in someday (inspired by Stoopid Girl)!!

Not too keen on the body kit though.

the exterior will come together over the next few weeks
Yes we were debatting wheter or not to add the retro retract a roof and i think the owner will be eventually going for it
Car is getting 20" davin Wheels sometime soon. Gorgeous wheels with a price to match at close to 14K for a set!
One question i was curious about is if anyone makes a chrome Hood cowl scoop or anything of the sort. Im talking about the two black grills near the windshield on the hood.
Now onto the question of Motor. What would be your ultimate setup?
