How to enable window/sunroof roll down with unlock button on key?

Just like the title says, how can I enable this? I know it's been deactivated on the newe models, which I have, but would really like to have this.

Thanks

Tyler

It is a dealer programmable option, although specific year models may have little differences.

Not exactly the same as below, but some history:

Stupid sue happy people in the US successfully got money from BMW because their Cabrio top went down because the button was pushed by them, inadvertently of course... So this feature on the Cabrio has been disabled for that reason, don't know about the hardtop / sunroof option...

I got my 05 MCS programmed by Dealer in California, so holding the button when you first unlock it will lower the windows in my car (don't have a sun roof btw...)

Good Luck

I had to suck the programming out of my dealer, but mine works, with sunroof.

I've read that if you don't get it programmed when you pick up the new car from the dealer, that they can charge you for changes. I suppose it would depend on the dealer and on your story about whether the programming options were offered when you did pick it up.

If we are talking about the same thing....
When I push my unlock button once it unlocks the drivers door
Twice unlocks both doors
Three times does all of the above, takes the sunroof open and drops the back windows.
Four times held down and the top drops and so do the front windows.
Did I just get lucky with my dealer?

This is not a user programmable feature. You need to go to your dealer to get this done.

I recommend going back to the dealer you purchased the car from if it's an option. If you were never offered the opportunity to get those features programed when you picked up the car (or never asked how you wanted them programed) many dealers will do one programing for free... However you have to have bought the car from the dealer you request this from.

There aren't many (at least I haven't heard of any) that are willing to do this programming for somebody who didn't purchase their car from the dealership they are trying to get this service from who will do it for free.
