Is the towing eyelet missing?

Hi guys, I was looking for the towing eyelet in my 06 MCSa and it's no where in sight. The only item I have in the boot is the pouch that holds the jack and the lug wrench. Is every MINI supposed to come with it? Or does it only come with an on-board kit? Thank you.

I did, but I could not find it. Is it latched onto something where the battery is? Thanks.

Uh oh. You mentioned it's a 2006 so I'm assuming you bought it new. If so, there's supposed to be a black styrofoam case with some tools and the eyelet wedged between the battery and the sheetmetal. I suggest you get in touch with your dealer.

Mine was in a small pouch in the left side compartment of the boot, the little plastic door you would open to change your tailight bulbs. The pouch was secured with a velcro strap.

funk flex, thanks, I found it. That thing looks so hidden, I thought it was a sound insulator/support for the battery until I saw the little silver color peeking out from one of the tools. Thanks.

Just the other day I was wondering where the other parts of the tool kit were. Thanks for the heads up!
