Nobull,
That is really cool. It looks very nice. Do they have these pedals for the Cooper as well?

Not sure, ask your dealer or service center parts manager. That is who I called and found out. Good Luck.

[clip] So I went home and studied it and figured out the "how to". It was simple once you figured out how to remove the old pedal. [clip]

So, do you want to share this "how to" with the rest of us?

You know after I sent this in I knew I should have taken pictures while I was installing them. So stay tuned. I will take pictures of the old pedals and describe the "How To" tomorrow. That way it will have a visual to go with the explanation.

I also heard UUC Motorwerks is coming out with pedals as well...judging from the quality of their shift **** - they might well be worth the wait.

My dealer didn't have the new MINI pedals in stock yet, and I believe the pedal covers fit both models. There is also a dead pedal upgrade for the Cooper in the current MINI catalog...

I made them. Found that a couple of places are selling them for $150.00. So I bought a sheet of diamond plate, traced the pattern and cut with a Jig Saw. $40.00 and they look great. Cannot say anything about how they work with snow but I do know they get slippery when you sole's are wet. But they look good!!!

Cool upgrade. I just completed my pedal installation this week-end. I would just like to add one additional note. I purchased the adaptor plate (35 40 0 141 446) for the gas pedal and I am glad I did. I broke the tabs on the plate during removal of the old pedal. ( My mechanical skill are lacking.)

Shift **** is from UUC Motorwerks, waiting on UUC brake handle.

Peace Out

Just so you do not have the reinvent the wheel. Here is a link on how to update to current OEM pedals.

How to fit factory alloy pedals to older models

Peace Out
