Can a cooper rear valance fit on an s?

i want to put the lower black plastic peice on my cooper s so my exhaust exits out the side instead of the middle! i have a couple of cool ideas floating around in my head and think it would look better than all the middle exit one's(my opinion). Where can i buy that peice? thanks guys!

Did you mean non-05/06 (i.e. 02-04) Cooper?

pastadog, you can order parts from your dealer or mail order from Classic MINI.
The part numbers are here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...84&hg=51&fg=15
I'm not sure but you may also need the side black pieces to match up with the bottom.

Go to your MINI dealer's parts department.

you need both the center piece AND both corners.

the shape of the S rear valance is completely differetny, so the S corner pieces will not fit with a cooper valance.

Hey Rick, I recently picked up an Indi Blue MCS bumper for my Cooper. This rear valence thing-- I don't understand--I know it's got the cutout for the Cooper, so is this thing removable from my old '03 Cooper bumper? Can I just take it off and stick it on the '03 MCS bumper? Will it fit? Or is there such a thing as a side exhaust valence for the MCS?

Just swap out the plastic. All of your MC plastic should fit on the S bumper. A minor change, such as removing a tab or two from one of the plastic pieces may be neccesary, but I dont think you need to.

Just make sure all the plastic is snapped in all the way and your good to go!
