I've been doing a great deal of research regarding aftermarket reclining sports seats for my Mini as the factory seats simply are not a good fit for my tall frame and severely lacking in terms of lateral bolstering/ support. My search has been honed down to Recaro or Sparco options, primarily Recaro Speed or Sparco Milano. I've found a large authorized reseller offering Milano seats in alcantara for roughly the same price as the Recaros, but I have concerns regarding the long term wear of the alcantara fabric as well as the durability of the Sparco relative to Recaro. I've been keeping an eye on the forums here for some time and done a number of searches, but thought I'd attempt to solicite some final feedback before making a decision.
