what is this?:sirius install

i am neurally complete with my oem sirius install, with special thx the edge for helping with the instructions. but in the cubby were i am going to put the receiver there is this.

i have lojack in the car and i am hoping this is not it. i thought they hide lojack not just place it in the trunk. anyway i think i can reverse the mount so that it will work.

No idea - that bay is normally empty or has the H/K amplifier in it, but the amp is bigger than that.

well everything is in and mounted but i still dont know what the two boxes are. i just unmounted them, put the receiver in, then used mounting tape and zip ties to mount the mystery boxes. i still need to get the sirius receiver to output sound. it knows what station your on and who is singing but still no sound?

My guess is those are lojack. It almost looks like someone put a mini sticker on it so someone thinks its some factory amp. The smaller black box to the left looks especially aftermarket. You don't have an aftermarket alarm do you?

As for sound, if you have HK then you need an additional wiring harness that runs the sound under the boot carpet to the HK amp on the other side. Otherwise check your plugs, and also those up at the head unit.
