Name for a PW/B...

Well, all of you were so helpful when I was fretting over the name for my '06 PW/B MCS. As predicted the name just came one day and it was the perfect fit.
So this naming thread isn't for me, just an aside.
I bought my kids the movie "Madagascar" for Christmas and finally got a chance to watch it with them yesterday, FWIW it was a scream. But my favorite characters by far were the 4 penguins. I know it's because they made me think of my PW/B! Their little white fronts and shiny black heads and backs
Anyway, in the movie the 4 penguins are trying to escape the zoo and NYC and get to Antarctica. They are like a little military platoon and are absolutely hysterical. The head penguin is the funniest and his name is Skipper, then there's Rico, the demolition expert, Kawolski is the codes and planning guy and then there's the little one with a British accent named Private (Private First Class Private!).
So if any new PW/B owners are seeking a name, just rent a copy of Madagascar and I'm sure you will be inspired!!

Good idea! I have a PW/B 2006 Cooper on order and have been thinking about names and have been uninspired so far. That was a great movie in my opinion as well!

Welcome to the club! The PW/B club as well as NAM!
So what did you order and when is your expected delivery day?
You will love the color, it is very cool and classy and although I second guessed my choice a few times, the second I saw it I was thrilled.

I ordered a 2006 MC PW/B with the cold weather, sport & premium packages and also getting the factory arm rest. I agree with you though that the bonnet stripes are a must!

We have a PW/B named Phineus, or Phinny the Mini.
Best color combo, in our humble opinion.

Drowning in all this Seattle rain!!!!

I'm not really a fan of the stripes, they seem a little busy on such a small car, but to each his own.

Guess I better come up with a name....OREO?

#66 weighing in: I love my PW/B MINI. It hasn't been washed in over a month and looks okay despite handprints on the boot lid. Every time I bring it to my mechanic, Bay Bridge Motors, they tell me it's their favorite color. I love it with the black stripes although a friend has white stripes with black edging on hers and that's nifty. My MINI is not named, but it has a mascot on the dash. Before Christmas I was given a rubber squeeky toy of a cartoonish duck head sticking out of a black and white space shuttle. I think it suits the MINI better than the rubber squeeky orange devil's head someone else gave me. That's going on my PW/B bicycle.

I pick up my PW/B this Thursday!!!!!

While he has been on order the pre-name is "My Precious" with how obsessive I've been over getting it.

Once I pick it up the plates will be PENGUIN, i do collect penguins and have been to Antarctica.

I was also thinking Rico or Kawolski

Have a great weekend.
Check out my photography here with some great Mini Images.

Congrats Reno, considering your tag, Rico or Kawolski would be perfect, I'm jealous!
So pick a PW/B number and join us You can have anything but 1, 65 or 66, that leaves a lot to pick. Have you picked your motoring ID from the MINIUSA Owner's Lounge?
So what's with the pic in your photobucket file with the New Zealand reference? My mom was a Kiwi and DH and I will be retiring there.
Here's a pic I took last time we were there.

Well I did already get a Motoring ID last week and it is ZIP007 so I'll take PW/B number 7, or 007 to be exact. As for the New Zealand photo, I spent time there and once I had an image of My Precious I added it to one of the sea kayaking photos I took. Just was playing. My parents leave this Tuesday to go to N.Z. on vacation for 3 weeks.
