SC pulley
SC pulley
Been thinking....look out
BUT the eaton supercharger is a common supercharger so there has to be many companies out there that make pulleys for it. Pulleys for most superchargers can be found for like 50-60 bucks so why are we paying a premium, this is a common supercharger. Lets face it this isnt the first year production our SC,
I challenge everyone to do research and send email to the manufacures' find these pulleys for cheap.
Just saying............

It may be true that there are lots of Eatons out there, but we may have a unique pulley mounting. I've got an Eaton on my Miata, and it utilizes a nut and a keyed passageway. Due to the minimal clearance the MINI has to vehicle hardpoints, it's a press fit (and requires a tapered fit replacement.) That's two pieces instead of one (six if you count the screws!
) and more machining.
BRPerformance, a Miata shop in a very mature market, sells their one piece pulley for $95. So $120 doesn't bother me for a two piece pulley.
So let me throw your challenge right back at you - go find a cheaper manufacturer of a taper fit pulley and report back!
