Invisishield and Stripes

I want to get some stripes for my new MC but I also want to get paint protection on the bonnet. The question is, which should go on first? Should the stripes go over the protective film or the film over the stripes? Or should the film be cut around the stripes?

Already several threads on this topic, but the general consensus is clear bra first, stripes on top. Thought process is that stripes are cheaper to replace; having to remove the clear bra is expensive. Also, if you ever wanna change stripes for a new look, it's a lot easier.

I had both on my '04. The stripes went on over the clear film. I got the film installed at the dealership and the stripes went on after a couple of months so that was the only way to do. If you already have the stripes on, it's no problem putting the film over them.

I cut the clear film around the stripes. I like this look better. The stripes are as thick as the clear film so the front of the bonnet looks smooth with nothing bumping over the other.
