does anyone know of a alunimum/chrome/or silver front grille w/ like honeycomb design (aero grille) except it is painted silver or is made of aluminum. if you have pictures please post, i think it would be an awesome change on the mini cooper to have that on the front grille.

Simple fix, go buy the mesh grill from the dealer and have it painted/chrome plated/nickel plated. Might look kinda cool! I think painting it would be the best (and most durable) way to go.

Yes, you can. Shouldn't be too expensive. A whole new chrome grill with all its pieces is only around $200 (I bought one to put on my S). Get it painted at a professional body shop, they will purchase the neccesary paint for you (the colour of the car). Don't try doing it yourself unless you have your own paint shop, as you need special flexible primers, clear coats, etc... and if the car is metallic, the painting is even more difficult.
