Interior/Exterior Widebody Fender Kit Installs...
I too would love to hear about anyone installing the wide fenders from Mini Mania.
To sand down and paitn the original black plastic acrches would easily run $500 plus for a good job.
For the $575 price, I think it is a good deal. However, are they too wide?
Will they fit with the aero kit side skirts? Or am I stuck having them sanded down and painted???

I inquired about the fit to the aero kit. The issue is not just the skirts, but if the trim fits the front and rear bumper units. I was told "they should" but Mini Mania is not sure, and did not indicate they have tested the fit. I have inquired further with no response. I am still interested in fit details and the compatability with the entire aero kit.
>>If you are gonna have the black plastic painted, you still have to do that in the front of the car and the sideskirts...
I get the impression that the kit includes the front and rear lips and side bits in addition to the wheel arches. If anyone has installed this and/or has any other photos of the kit I'm also anxious to see! I'm also trying to decide between this and sanding and painting the plastic arches.

Another thing that needs to be looked at, is whether or not this kit has the side reflectors since it comes from germany where it isn't a requirement.
I was also wondering if this would work if i kept my 's' side skirts on?

You also need to consider what size wheels and tires will look good under such a wide fender. And, how much fender cutting will be required because the metal fender is just under the plastic and if you put anything wider than 215 or use spacers you'll need to cut the fenders to give the tires some room for upward movement; else you'll be schredding the tires
