MINIs on the Tree

For the last week, there has been three little ornaments hanging on the tree all wrapped in paper so I couldn't see what they were. When I opened them, I found 3 MINI ornaments, all EB/W like my Giles. My darling SO made them out of the small Triple C models. He drilled a hole in the roof of each, and soldered in a wire loop to run the hook through. How cool is that!?!? They look so lovely on the tree. Hope the rest of you are having a Merry MINI Christmas!

So do the unscented MINI air fresheners cancel out the pine smell of the tree?

We might become a two-MINI family. My SO is a gear head and a MINI-enabler. (He also got me Union Jack valve stem caps, a MINI model, and a MINI DVD as stocking stuffers). We're now talking about getting a cheap Classic as a project car for him.

We just built a house, and for your first christmas, our builder gives his clients a custom Santa--a very, very nice about two foot tall figure, made by a local person; it's really well done and is an heirloom quality type of thing.

We didn't know he did that, our friends had built with him, but they didn't tell us to keep it as a surprise. The cool thing is the builder has them made with things he finds out you like, so Santa is adorned with tiny presents representing each person in the house--so there was a little basketball in Santa's bag for one of my kids, a teddy bear for the other, etc. And of course, a miniature Mini Cooper in Santa's bag for me--totally cool, and I fell over laughing when I saw it.

Aww, that's so cool! Of course, that's one of the fun things about owning a MINI. It's easy for everyone to figure out at least ONE thing that you like!

You know, that picture isn't helping. The classic looks fabulous, and making me want one more!
