Cracked Windshield

I walked out to my car thi morning and noticed a crack in my windshield. Upon further inspection it looks like its about 1.5 inches long extending down from the roofline. The odd this is there is when I run myhand over it either inside or outide the car it feels fine. It's as if the glass is cracking from inside out. This sucks, I've only had the car a little over a month.

What do you think my chances of getting it replaced under warranty are?

Take it to your dealer where they will perform the "ballpoint pen test" If the pen travels smoothly over the crack, meaning there is no divit or other evidence of rock damage, you will get your wish. If not, get a PPG replacement 'screen, as it is a bit more resistant to the "sand blasting" effect that factory glass gets.

p.s. If you've been naughty, ya mights be out of luck. Imagine cracking a 'screen on Christmas Eve.

Just did the test, there is absolutlely no divit. It looks like it cracked from the top of the glass down.

It must be my karma...something always breaks on Christmas eve. Lat year it was the harddrive on my wifes computer.

And I've been very naughty, so I might be SOL :-)
