Interior/Exterior skinny silver stripes?
skinny silver stripes?
I got the silver roof before the factory was ready to do silver bonnet stripes, so I have a clean bonnet.
I've decided I do not like the wide silver stripes that curve to the scoop. I prefer the classic width stripes.
Is it possible to get aftermarket silver stripes (decals) that will match the roof?

We also did not want the new silver stripe and had some custom checkerboard stripes made using silver colored viny.. These stripes allow the paint of the body to serve as the dark color of the checkerboard for a really nice contrast between the purple haze paint and the silver stripes. ..
As you can see, I have black roof, but did not want the black stripes. I have silver with a dark slate border. Got them from CooperFlags. I wanted the silver stripes to closer match the wheels and chrome trim. After I put them on, I noticed it also matched the interior seats.
YuccaPatrol: nice stripes. Who did them?
Red Ryder: since I have the silver roof, my concern is that if the silver is not an exact match, it will look dorky. You solved the problem by choosing contrasting colors for roof/stripes.
I have an email inquiry to cooperflags about color.

WE got them from Cooper flags!
The color is a good match (you might want to consider a design that lets the body color show through-I am partial to that anyway). Yucca's bonnet is currently naked.
BTW: silver wasn't listed as an option for the style we chose, but they can do it.

I have a BRG/S on order. I just ordered custom stripes from Mighty Stripes. He send me a few samples and one of them was just about spot on. I used another NAMers SR/S to match the color.

We had CooperFlags make the stripes and send them to the dealer for installation before we picked up the new Cooper, so I never had the chance to put them right next to the silver roof.
However, I agree with Red Ryder that there is enough distance between the roof and the bonnet that any subtle difference would not be perceived. The stripes we have look perfect to me

Hey Red Ryder (boat mate), I like Magoo's stripes!
I've ordered traditional Cooper stripes for Topper from Cooper Flags in pure silver with dark silver edges... probably very close to what Magoo has. As you say, they should go well with the silver S-lites and with the interior (silver dash with grey leatherette) and Topper's all Jet Black body.
I ordered both the bonnet and the curved boot stripes. Not sure yet about installing the latter but I wanted to have them from the same color lot.
YuccaPatrol and PurplePeopleEater, those are great looking checker stripes. I like the smaller pattern with mulitple rows.

I love to see subtle differences in stripes and other graphics-makes me smile. I look forward to seeing photos.BTW: I checked out your gallery and CAN'T GET OVER THESE PHOTOS:

PurplePeopleEater, I can't get over those photos either.
I'm just glad I have them. I can't believe that car was that small. I put white bonnet stripes (store bought vinyl tape) on it eventually. Looked pretty neat. I don't know how difficult it was to remove them or what came off with them.
jdmarino, getting back to your question, by all means consult with Cooper Flags, Mighty Stripes and Asthetic Creations [? check vendor list]. Sounds like they all can come up with any design and colors you want and will probably enjoy helping you. I agree that the amount of separation between the bonnet and roof should hide any small difference in color, but they know what the factory colors are and should be able to come pretty close, at least that's what I've been told.
I didn't ask for a sample, but Cooper Flags does offer to send one.
