So...looking at the entry list for Ft. Myers, I only see Kim and myself in the MINI camp for H Stock. Who else is going?

There's an event in Ft Myers? I'll be travelling down there next week. When is it and where?

I'm going if I can find a ride for the event. I am currently looking into renting a Mini with another competitor that also needs a ride. Although, haven't found any rentals besides Ft Lauderdale area, so, not sure. That, and, the rental guys seem to think our Mini's are Ferrari's at $400+ for a weekend!!!

Looks like Carpenter is entered in his Celica, so, will the Celica get its first win since 2004? He's the only one entered so far. Still searching for a ride. Might have to rent an HS Mini for $400 for the weekend if I'm down there. Anyone know of anywhere to rent in Ft Myers? I see some in Ft Lauderdale, but, none within a reasonable radius of Ft Myers.

 

I'm planning on registering this week. Can't let Carpenter get a free trip to the winners circle. I've been waiting until I hear that the Miami Pro will or will not happen, but I still haven't seen anything about it. The Fonta Pro is finally on the schedule on scca.org. Anyone know if the Miami event will happen?

Not sure about renting down there though. I would think there would be a couple, but you'd probably have to call around to the offices down there. When I tried to get one for the Phil Wicks event at Laguna Seca, I called the national office for National Rent A Car and they had no information, but after calling their office in Monterey, turns out they did have a couple. Too bad they were automatic and I wasn't 25. Best place to look would be any speciality rental place, they usually have manuels.

 

I plan to go, running my JCW Mini in STX. There are a few things that could get in the way. I certainly hope they don't, as I could use a few days in the sun.

 

Need a co-drive anyone? I'll pay for entry fee's, possibly supply wheels/tires depending on class or maybe just pay a rental fee to whoever provides myself with some Miniage.
