I Am So Glad I Did This!!!
By 'this' I mean A Whalen. An excellently manufactured product, delivers exactly what it claims, and I get to use it everyday!
Here it is installed......

Well, I was fortunate to receive mine as a surprise birthday gift from YuccaPatrol, koolmini, sndwave, Sarcux, and Ryephile at the Fall On The Dragon meet in October! I love it! Really a beautiful thing and works so well!

Hmm... a Mini Romeo?
"Cloverleaf or Quadrifoglio badges denote variants of Alfa Romeo cars where the name denotes the high-end of the range in comfort and engine size, but previously denoted Alfa Romeo racing cars in the pre-Second-World-War era. The image first appeared in 1923 when Ugo Sivocci presented one prior to the start of the 14th Targa Florio as a good luck token to the team. This became the symbol of competition Alfas, denoting higher performance."

Thanks for that tidbit, XAlfa! I am a big fan of Alfa Romeos! And to think that a Cloverleaf connotes higher performance, well........I really enjoy shifting with the Whalen!
I've been debating this myself but was concerned about scalding my palm in the summer. In the winter, I tend to be a homebody. But in the spring and summer I am out and about all day. How does the Whalen shift **** react when the MINI has been parked in the sun in July? Especially those that have a sunroof? I'm in Georgia, so upper 90's and even 100's occassionally is not unheard of from June through August.
