Couple ? on the Alta and Mini gauge holders.

Hello....
Getting the Alta gauge pod and the Mini gauge panel and need a few questions answered from the experts out there.... 1st is guage size. What size Autometer gauge would fit the Alta pod? 2-5/8"?? I did not see a listing for a 2-3/8" size Autometer gauge on there site that would fit the Alta gauge pod. 2nd Question: What gauges best match the Mini gauges? I was thinking maybe the Autometer Ultra-Lite's, but did not see a gauge that would fit the Alta pod unless the 2-5/8" fits.. Any others?? and last question: Is it better to go with the mechanical or Electronic oil pressure guage? also where is the best place to tap into the oil system to get the readings? What kind of oil pressure does the copper s produce on start-up? Info needed to get the right pressure reading oil pressure gauge. Im sure someone can point me to a post that talks about this subject..
Thanks for any help you can provide....

well its 60mm... so figure the math from there... its either 52mm (with the spacer), or the 60mm

2) i got a friend with these: Greddy gauges: and yes, they glow orange, silver backed... (hopupracing sells them)

3) always electronical if you can swing it... i don't know about you, but i'd be a bit weary when i got engine oil and boost coming RIGHT into your face of the gauge!

the oil pressure sender you can get a oil pressure sender adaptor, i think minimadness sells one,

otherwise, like me, you can drill a hole in the oil filter, and fill the surrounding areas of the oil filter with some epoxy.. it held in track days for me so it must be okay

that said, this method you run a huge risk... of someone ruining your filter housing if they not careful during an oil change

Thanks for the reply.... I found were they sell the Alta gauge pod with the Autometer 2-5/8" gauges, so I guess the Autometer ones will fit. My Dad has a Twin Turbo 350Z and uses metric reading gauges...I dont care for them. Takes me to long to convert to standard readings..... I think I'll check into the electronic oil pressure gauge. Dont care for the hot oil in my face incase something goes wrong... Thanks agin for your help.....

A photo of my Autometer gauge setup. They are the 2 5/8" gauges. The left is the Pro Comp Ultralite 90 degree sweep oil pressure gauge, and the right is the Pro Comp Ultralite 270 degree sweep boost gauge. The boost gauge measures from "-20" to "+15". I wish I had the + 20 model. They do work nicely though, for the money. I imagine that they are accurate up to a point, but my car is no test mule or anything. Just a semi-daily/ weekend driver. It all depends on what you want or need them for.
