Classic Christmas marketing. Hype it to the extreme and then make sure there are not enough to go around so people end up fighting over them, selling them at outrageous prices, and creating demand for something simply because it cannot be had.

I think I'll just wait until the day after Christmas which is probably the day that they will begin emptying the warehouse full of them. They will start shipping them once they have completed their scheme to make children cry because they cannot have one because mommy and daddy won't or can't afford to pay double or triple the price to a scalper. . . .

I just sold it on ebay for like 780 shipped. Before chrismas i will try to get another one and list it on ebay like on the 20th. It was insane on the 22nd the were going upwards of 1500 dollars.
