Here's a test fit pic of my cheapo Enkie tuner wheels using the stock run flats. As you can see, it needs to be lowered. I'm thinking about Intaxx springs, they are supposed to lower the car .8" in front and .5" in the back.

Does any one have experience with Intraxx on a Mini? I put them on my Miata, no problems so far.

By the way, these wheels are 21 lbs. each. I paid $580 mounted and balanced and with special tuner locking studs at a local shop. I've seen them cheaper on eBay but these guys provide great service.

Sorry, my mistake - Intrax not Intraxx.

There are 9 sets on eBay for $175 plus $30 S&H. Buy it now type auction. Your choice Cooper or Cooper S. They drop the Cooper by 1" and .75". There were 10 but I just decided to buy a set.

I don't know who else carries them yet. The eBay seller is e3racing.com, they don't show Intrax on their website.

Used on lots of rice rockets, I may try them on the Miata as well. I got them at an Aurora, IL tire dealer. I just checked eBay, several are available, some with tires. $505 with S&H. You'll need the special studs too, mine are on order. Don't let them try to use adaptors with lug nuts! No fit problems with the stock performance run flats but I haven't driven it. Snow tires are still on. I'll run these wheels for a while and upgrade once I'm done dumping cash into this MCS. I'm not really into the boy racer look (hence the banker black MCS) but these will be fun for the Summer.

 

Hmmmm... I should have checked the feedback more closely. Lots of very positive feedback, this guy does have about 200 auctions going right now. But also about 10% negatives, not good. We'll see what happens.
