Wanted: Hi-res Image of PS & DS side by side.

Anyone have a URL to a high resolution image of a Pure Silver and Dark Silver MINI side by side? Roof color doesn't matter but I would to compare them side by side and everytime I make it to a Dealer these two never seem to be on the lot for direct comparison.

I was interested in Dark Silver for the longest time but lately Pure Silver has my fancy.

How are the two colors for not showing dirt in the course of a week between washes?

Thanks-
Randy Kuite

I'll give you a *bump* because I am also very interested in this!

Also, has anyone seen a mini in the new "royal grey"??

I have found one place where the colors are better represented than on the miniusa site. If you to the mini international site (www.mini.com - click 'international') you can find the different mini models. You can find the Park Lane and Checkermate and Cooper S. It lets you pick a body color and photo background. The nice thing is that the colors are better rendered than on miniusa.com (which looks like a paint-bucket fill in photoshop or something). They look more "photorealistic" which is nice.

But hi-res side-by-side photos would be nice!

Browse people's galleries... there are photos of pretty much everything represented. The Royal Grey looks really cool. I'd choose it over either of the silvers and go with a silver roof.

I was a lot like you...PS or DS. I finally decided on the PS after seeing both side by side, dirty, in realtime. I felt the PS did not show dirt and road film as badly, especially on the boot area. I really liked the overall look of the DS for several months but when push come to shove, the PS won out. Of coarse I also wanted to have the aero kit and arches color coded and felt the PS looked best if I did. You can see her in my gallery.

I'm biased, as I just got my DS Mini today , but for what it's worth, I think DS looks sharper, & there's just way too many PS cars (of other makes) on the road out there... DS stands out more.

From a pure "what shows dirt more" perspective, I'm going to guess that PS would be better, though, since it's a lighter color.
