I've been searching for one of these for cleaning my wheels, as I am tired of scraping the skin from my knuckles! But be careful--most of these have a metal wire that the foam attaches to. This could scratch. I can't seem yet to find one with a plastic "core," instead of metal.

The local kitchen places should have an OXO foam brush that's all plastic. I've been using this one:

http://www.oxo.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=99

If you try to wash the "inside" of the wheel, as opposed to the face of the wheel, expect the foam pad to get eaten up after a few months of washing. But replacements are available.

I've been REALLY happy with This Meguire's brush, never before have I seen something so easily get in between the brake caliper and the rim.

I get mine at WalMart and K-Mart. They cost about $2. I've seen them at the Dollar Store, also. All plastic and foam. I love them!

Do you have "Bed, Bath and Beyond" out there? They should sell what you want.
