Tony,
Best of luck in the finale. Glad to hear no real issues after the roll over. Will be waiting to hear the announcement for next year.:smile:

My DVD only recorded the first 5 laps. So, how did Tony do?

Heya Greg! Big fan here... In another thread in the forum, post #12, I said this about what happened (I was listening live on the web radio):

Sounds like on lap 30 we had some "tire problem" or something... Drat! Yellow flags galore in the first part of this race. Weather is certainly a factor as rain has been coming and going, and with that, decisions on what tires to go with...

We were up to 10th at one point! Looks like we are not out though, but dropped back a couple laps... to 20th, and have worked-up to 17th with about 40 minutes left (I doubt the lap limit will be reached)...
=========

I really hope in the off-season Tony can get approvals to do additional mods. It seems to be quite a challenge to do so...

Yeah it was real interesting in the wet. I picked up a piece of debris in my left front tire. When I was coming through turn, three I radioed in I felt like I had a tire going down. When I went through the next turn, a 90-degree left hand I knew for sure. Of course, I had about 3 miles to go around to the pits. When I tried to turn right into the esses I went off into the wet grass and mud. I managed not to hit anything or anybody and got back on track. I shortcuted the circuit taking the north course turn which brought me out at the end of the back straight and down the roller coaster. I managed to make it to the pits and had the tire changed. Or what was left of it. I finished the race but the time it took to get around had put us down two laps.
Watch for our major announcement about 2006 coming soon.
Happy Thanksgiving
Tony
