I had mine installed yesterday, too. Springs and sway bar. Now the car needs an allignment, but i will wait for another couple of days to let it sit all the way. My ride is pretty firm too, and loving it, just like the way I wanted.

Ya, I'm also waiting for everything to settle in, hopefully the front will settle just a tad more, hopefully.

Alignment is next on the to-do list

I did my springs and sway bar a few months ago. I need an alignment as well... I heard or read somewhere that the dealer can only do a 4 wheel alignment. Anyone else heard this before? I'd like to get all 4 adjusted rather the front 2.

Wow! I don't think my wife would notice if the wheel were parallel to to road. She's usually to busy holding on to the grab bar and alternately sighing and glaring at me as we carve corners.

Well it is tough to tell from this angle. My height seemed to have come down after the first day or two. Try to post a pic from the side and with the camera on the level of the side mirror, and I'll do the same.
Cheers,
Herbert

today I had mine allignment done, and balanced the tires, now the **** startrs, still firmer than stock set-up, kind of annoying sometimes. However, there is always a compromise with mods, you do one thing, give up another.

overall, i am extremely happy with the handling as well as the looks of the vehicle, and will post pics asap.

Ok since everyone on this thread has had springs done I have a question. Is it normal for me to feel the road more in the wheel? Also I notice the wheel will follow the curve of the road more.

Also noticed since lowering my sway bar is making some contact with the body in the read and causes a weird noise. I think I will probaly lube this first and then try to remove some of what is rubbing. Any suggestions?

correct, you will feel the road more, however, the question is" Have you done alignment yet?

sway-bar, i will leave it up to Ken, he might have a logical answer for that, i do not have any problems so far.

You could get some adjustable sway bar end links to reposition the sway bar. I understand that is not an unusual requirement.

I have gotten an alignment. I might just trim crap on the car. I don't feel like spending more money on the suspension right now.

Whatever is rubbing underneath. Before I looked I thought it was my swaybar simply squeeking. But then I looked through my wheel and saw how close it was to some part of the car. I need to take a pic and post it to see what others think eh

Well let's try this. here are before and after pics.

Before with the stock Cooper S springs (pic though is taken from a higher perspective which does not show the wheel gap aswell)

After, with the H Sports springs installed.
