Navigation & Audio Sat/Nav

I have ordered a Cooper for delivery in March. One of the toys is Sat/Nav.Does anyone know who makes the version for UK? I believe it is a CD ROM driven setup and american version is getting a DVD setup soon.How long before UK goes DVD?null

I'm not positive about the UK, but NavTech makes the CDs for the US. Their website suggests that they cover Europe also.
As for the DVD based sytem - I honestly haven't followed this closely since I've had my CD system for over 7 months now. I keep hearing that it is supposed to be available soon.... I'm sure someone else can say more.

According to our sales person when we got our MINI lsat week "the DVD will be out in a few months." Of course we were told when we placed the order that the '03s would all have the DVD's but what are you going to do.

Thanks, yes Navtech also supplies UK and according to WWW. fingertech.co.uk/copilot.html I have discovered that Copilot runs on Compaq iPAQS Sat/nav. :smile:
