CD changer connector - how flexible?

OK, as I understand it, there are many types of things that can be plugged into the OEM stereo via the CD changer connector. Such as:

1) CD changer (duh!)
2) OEM Sirius Receiver
3) Dension ice>Link:Plus

Now, are these all mutually exclusive? To be fair though, I don't care about the CD changer... the real question is, can an OEM Sirius receiver be connected at the same time as the Dension ice>Link:Plus? I imagine that if the Sirius receiver uses some kind of pass-through connection, it might be possible.

See, I'm now thinking of getting both... if I can. Up until now I was almost certain that I wanted the "direct into head unit" install of the Dension... just to make it neater, one less cable to run the length of the car. However, if that means disconnecting the CD changer cable completely, that might exclude the Sirius receiver from being installed... unless both can be done directly there behind the head unit?

Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

If you add the factory Sirius, it uses the CD changer cable. THere is a BMW cable (don't know the part number) that you can obtain through Dension that will allow you to use both the Sirius, and the IceLink Plus. A couple of our local area members have this arrangement. I have the Sirius (and love it) which was a pretty easy self-install, and will add the IceLink eventually if I can ever convince my wife to take it out of the IceLink in her MCC

The cable is actually a BMW cable. The BMW part number is actually listed in the Dension ICELink+ manual... I believe MINI of Sterling will sell it to you over the counter for either $13 or $15 although they'll probably have to order it as it's not something that they stock...
