I stand to be corrected, but as far as we know, none of these cars do have the tuner file. All files purchased through Hitec (German tuning company) have the standard file - regardless what they state.

I didn't know the MINI One D had a turbo in it from the factory.

If we ever get one of those here, Hello BullyDog!

MINI meet your new friends Nitrous and Propane!

Oke, i have a question.

I suppose P-rad = wheel hp and P-mot = crank hp.
If i devide the wheelhp through the crankhp, i get the drivetrain loss, right?

Most of the MCS´s had approx. 26% drivetrain loss witch i find a lot for a FWD car. Only Nick Mini S 225 had a 20% drivetrain loss. Does he have smaller/lighter wheels/clutch? How else would this be possible?

When my car was on the rollingroad, i had approx. 14% drivetrain loss witch is a lot less than you guys have!

Strange....

cheers,
Peter

If the "Hektor" car is for real, that's some ridiculous power. It seems to have RMS SC and goodies that never made its way here... But, there's some weirdness here... Look at "muffn," the Cooper. They're saying 120.6 PS and 146 (!!!) Nm torque, with just an MTH tuner tune. There's just no way, in my mind, that this could be possible!?!?! That's more torque than an MCS, I believe...

MiniS225 has 205/40-17 mounted all other S at least 205/45-17, we noticed a drivetrain loss of 10hp with 18".
Muffn Cooper with the MTH-Tunerfile 146 Nm are 105 lb ft, 1 lb ft is 1,36 Nm converted. Muffn was very disappointed with only 120 hp instead of the promised 136 hp.

ok, i could be greatly mistaken,(since i don't understand a stich of German) but on hte RMS webpage it says their 250 kit is 6199 German Duetche Marks (I think) thus when when a conversion to U.S $ mean about 4k....

why can't some one have that kind of a performance package for that much? and it seems to be the real deal according the RMS tuned car from this dyno day...

OR it could be in Euros and I am just F'in stupid... LOL

Hey Piston,
since a couple of years we have the EURO in germany, in austria as well.
€ 1,- Euro is about $ 1,2 Dollar.

Since my German in rusty and Babelfish is even rustier am I correct in the conclusion that the MTH Tuner file delivered 2.5 HP less than the standard file?
