Anyone in California with a JCW kit car or a car with similiar stats passed the smog check with a cam installed?

The JCW kit is CARB certified. Smog check no problem....

To answer your question.......

When we originally tested our 180 degree Thermostat a couple of years ago
a concern was raised that the smog police would give us a ticket

Anyway....The car had all the go fast goodies you could imagine, including
a ported head and a Schrick Cam. Bottom line we did a pull on a smog-
station test dyno and we would have passed California smog test with flying colors, and I wouldn't worry about the visual inspection.....

If we can help you with anything regarding your MINI, feel free to call us.

You realize a smog check is not required for several years on new cars, including the MINI?
