Finally ordered mine!

ok folks, I've been babbling about it... put in my sig... took part in various threads about every nuance of a car I hadn't even ordered yet.

well, like my sig said... to be ordered approx 10/14. well it's 10/15 and barring any major problems with the financing folks at bmw motor credit I've placed my order and received my production number.

I'm scheduled for week 45 production (he'll have good company with the JCW brothers I hope) and I can't wait! The folks at Ottos's MINI in West Chester, PA were awesome. My MA Michelle just pulled the cars (I drove both a MC and MCS to be sure) up and let me and my dad motor along... this was awesome because I hate having salespeople sitting in the car with me. When I went to Min Line MINI I couldn't drive it without the guy in the car with me. and let me tell you the back roads there by ottos are excellent! I could tell that it's been a while since I've driven a stick, but I'm enjoying the thought of driving it every day already. ok so on with the good stuff...

06 MCS HB/W
Cold weather pack
DCS
MFSW
LSD
HB interior, grey leatherette
Front and rear fogs
Xenons
16" Vspokes

MSRP - 24,150

the only thing from my original spec that I dropped was the sunroof... I just decided it wasn't worth it to me for the sunroof... I've toiled with the decision for the last few hours and it may change by monday... but that's where we stand

thanks for listening and for everyone's help guiding me to my choices!

That sounds like a great car. Love the color combo too. That car is very close to the spec of mine. As far as the sunroof goes, to me it was the fact that it really can't be closed...darn net liner & the fact that it adds weight where you don't want it....on top of the car. Good luck waiting. It's been hard for me, but I will be rewarded soon & so will you.

well, today I made the first and hopefully only change... I added the chrome line interior. I know I can get it for less and put it on myself... but this way I know it will be the way I want it when I take delivery... rather than waiting for my procrastinating *** to get the pieces and install

Sounds great. You won't miss the sunroof. All it is is extra weight and sun in your face no matter if you want it or not.

Cheers
