Well, it looks like we won the fight, the 05 MCS is going to stay in GS!!!! Yeah baby!!!!!!!!!! The 06+ with JCW is going to BS. I assume the 06 without JCW will go to GS, but, I was not 100% clear on 06 without JCW so I'll wait to get a clarification on that but I am 99% sure the 06 w/out JCW is GS.

I guess its safe now that I re-read it since it says the proposal for 05+ MCS to DS has been removed. I didn't see the Plus on my first scan. Now it says the BOD still has to approve this, so, I assume the JCW to BS is not final but it says the other proposal has been withdrawn, so I assume the 05+ is safe.

WHOO HOOO!!! Great news, I was stressin it for a while there. So, next nationals, all you good GS drivers need to beat the Celica's by just a hair. That way we let DS beat us a bit more and we can stay in GS for many years to come....which equals...no more stress!!

07 is where you are likely to see some real competitors in GS.

It is good thing for people who got 05 cars that the car is staying in GS and SEB is going the "safe" route with the JCW for this next year like they did with the PP330 last year.
Stock classes pretty much = changes though which is good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Especially with noone campaigning them! If Carpenter, Foley, Reno, Pilson etc.. or yourself choose not to run the Celica, then, the Celica will never be a threat. and, I certainly don't see anyone hopping into a Celica for 06 that would be a contender. Bottom line is, the Celica is probably dead for 06.

Well....
I did "build my own" at the miniusa site.....

I picked the "off white" color + LSD + heated seats.
A MiniS of that color showed up at my work yesterday and it looks worse in the flesh than on the internet.
Oh well.
I don't know what I am doing next year yet....

Now if they would just let all of us with older JCW cars into BS and out of ASP!!! I have had so many people talk to me like I'm an idiot that doesn't know how to class my car when I show up with ASP on my car.
