Hey guys, Ive done quite a number of searches and havent been able to find the specific info I am lookin for. I was just wondering who on here is runnin 18" flik wasps, what tire and what size tire are u using, whether its lowered or not, and if u have any rubbing issues? Pics are welcome!! Thanks a lot.

Hi, i am running the wasps and asked alot of questions about tire sizes too. Couldnt ever get a staight answer, so im gonna give you one. 215/35/18 is what is the recommened tire size. This will give you NO rubbing issues at all, unless you lower, and then it may only over very hard bumps with a loaded car. I had a set of these and they were ok, but i wanted more sidewall. So i got some BFgoodwrich KDW-2s that are 215-40-18s and i have minor rubbing with a fully loaded car going full blast at the bottom of VERY steep hills. I NEVER get any rubbing when im driving around town, even with some passengers. Remember that some tire brands are different sizes than other. My new tires are much wider that the Falkens that they replaced.

hey thanks for the info glass intrepid! So u are not lowered at all? I am thinking that aesthetically u have to lower the car a bit with 18's ore else it will look too jacked up. Part of the reason I was thinkin of gettin the 18" wasps is because there cheaper than the 17s right now at $99 a wheel

I think they look good without it being lowered. I mean, it fills the wheel wells completely.
