I took these pictures from pyugala's gallery. Very beautiful MINI I say!

I never knew they made BBS LMs (17 x 7.5) for the Mini Cooper. I would love to purchase these wheels. I read on MINI2 and I believe on here that they are pretty rare and have to be custom ordered. Anyone know from whom I can order these from?

Thanks in advance!

I believe they arn't custom made. You can find them listed on the BBS website: here.

Hey Neil,

The url you just linked is broken, but if you are talking about the BBS LMs with the Mach Lip you are incorrect. Those wheels have 5 holes (for lack of a better term) rather then the 4 holes the MINI uses.

They are not custom made. Just not sold in the North American Market. But they are sold in other markets. So you just need to buy them from those markets.

The MINI has a 4x100 bolt pattern. These are the same wheels, just shown on tirerack in a different size.

I just called tirerack and they do not carry the BBS LM for the MINI.

Good looking out, but I would rather not buy imitation wheels.

I called Wheel Warehouse in Anahiem, CA and Shoreline Motoring in Huntington Beach, CA and they both offer the BBS LM wheels for the MINI at a discounted price. I also heard of Wheel Power; I'll give them a call later.

Anyone here know of any more "wheel stores" that carry BBs in the Southern California area?

Thanks again!

Try The Wheel Supply in Walnut. The owner used to have an MCS. They can do special order import from Japan which is the market that a 4x100 BBS LM would be sold. Good luck.

aren't those like $4000 plus shipping? and then you still need a contact out of the continent.

BBS LM's pictures at the top of the page can be ordered thru any BBS dealer in the United States.

They are a special order item. Which means they have to be custom built in Japan/Germany and then shipped to BBS USA, which is based in Georgia. It takes about 6 months.

Some dealers may not want to mess with that whole process because if you back out then they are stuck with a real expensive set of wheels..

So, yes you can get them in the US. Cost, it around $650-$700 per wheel. A good price for the finest wheels money can buy..

Someone here may even already have a set on order

My set is coming in about a month.. I'll report back if it is a reliable source.

* I talked to wheel experts and wheel power. Both said they will get back to me but never did. Other place quoted a 6month wait. I did not want to wait. Ordered through a JDM importer. it was shipped via ocean cargo on the 6th of september and expected to arrive in Mid-Oct. After customs, and shipping within USA, hopefully I should have it by end of Oct.

I'll join you some day! With the wheels that is. I just need to eat taco bell for a couple of months (erm, years?), maybe upgrade to the hot sauce only diet. Do you think I can survive?
