Help! iPod adapter interface disaster installation

I installed the ipod adapter from the mini dealer and it was a disaster. I followed all the directions but now the radio doesnt even turn on. Is anyone in the Washington DC area that coudl help??

Please- i would hate to go to the dealer.

You might have blown a fuse. I'd look in the owners manual and check the radio fuses.

Don't freak out just yet. Did you check the fuse yet? If so and that's not the problem, maybe when you plugged in the adaptor, you didn't push it in all the way till it snapped in. Did you disconnect the battery before the install? Maybe minis have those anti theft radios that need a code to turn them back on???
