Lug Nuts and Stud conv?

That is the basic difference, makes the wheels easier to change. Also with some stud kits you can get alloy lug nuts that are lighter and are available in different colors (Red, Blue, Black, Chrome, etc)

Well with any stud conversion you can do that. I bought just the studs from Pilo, and converted my MCS to studs with McGard splinedrive lugs from summitracing. Basically studs give you a lot more options.

The good ones are 'allen' drive for installation. No dbl nutting. Red loctite them in and cinch them down. (clean the thread of both first) I've not 'torqued' them as I suspect you'll bend or break the allen (or round it) well befor you'll get to 90lbs. Not to panic; they seem to do just fine.
