posted about a year ago about changing the audio system in my 2002 mini cooper... yeah so we got this cooper when it first came out and now its mine... im only 18... i dont have the HK system or the navigation system... i wanted to change to a mp3 in-dash as well as change the rear speakers to infinity 6x9s... since i gotta drive down from sf to UCR for school i definitely need the mp3 player... im thinking of either buying the dash off ebay and having this audio store install it... or do it through circuit city. which offers free installation?.. i dont know much about that offer...

i was also thinking if i could swap the rear speakers myself? is it that hard to do? i know i have to take out the whole side panels in the back right? what else do i need to know?

info on the dash installation... if theyll charge me for rewiring and what not... as well as on the rear speaker self-installation would really be HELPFUL... THANKS IN ADVANCE

so far ive only tinted all the windows but the car is still very clean and looks brand new... even though i drive hella crazy on all these trails... i always embarass all these other cars that should be outperforming me speedwise...


yea i know its not that big of a change... but im a shoe head and have over 10,000 dollars worth of nike SHOES... so thats where most of my money goes

and oh yeah... i was wondering how to upgrade my headlights... i do have xenon lights but theyre just not cutting it for me... need something brighter with a blue or purple tint to them... aright thanks for the help!
