I thought it would be fun to start a thread for M2C2 members on how old is your MINI and how many miles do you have.

I know one of our members Whskysouth has over 100,000 miles on his MINI and it is looking good.

My 2002 MCS will turn 3 years old 10/01 and just turned 70,000 miles this week.

I do think my MINI still looks good and runs great. Here is a picture from today.

 

MINI5280 (not M2C2 sorry)2002 with 52,500 miles. A neighbor commented to me "Your 3 year old MINI looks better than my 3 month old MINI!" She's got two little kids and they are kind of rough on her car .

 

1-1/2 years old and 23,500 miles. No problems except for the gas cap recall.

 

march 2002 delivery, 37k miles. runs like new.

 

23 weeks and just over 11,000 miles.

 

She's 1 year and 4 months old and I think about 13,600 miles.... I haven't seen her in 3.5 weeks () so thats just an educated guess

 

Nine months and one day old (since delivery), and 8836 miles as of this morning.

My '02 just turned 11,000 miles.......

 

Mine has a build date of Oct '02, but I didn't get it until March of '03. It's got 33,000 on it and ran great until the dealer upgraded my software about 4000 miles ago.

 

Mine: Just a few days over 3 years old (July 02 build/Aug 02 delivery) and sitting right now at 74,076




Her's: Just a few days over 4 months old (March 05 build/April 05 delivery) and almost has 4400 miles

 

Adopted in April 04, just surpassed 19000 miles and 78 mods!

Delivery Nov 03, Now have 18,500 miles.

 

My mini has 26,000. I bought it when it had 10,000.

 

1/2003 Cooper w/ 33K here.

 

Nov '03 Delivery, now sitting at 20,518 trouble free miles.

 

'02 with 91,622 miles, as of this morning

 

5/30/03 delivery date and pushing 34K

 

8 1/2 months old and 12,300 happily motored miles

 

I had a 2002 Cooper (pre-specd by MINIUSA, March build, April delivery) on which I put 18,500 miles. Fantastic car in every way with only 2 very minor problems.

Sold it and bought a 2003 Cooper S (April build, May delivery). The JCW kit was added in September with 7000+ miles on the clock. Two years and 4 months after taking delivery, I have 45,000 glorious miles on the odo :smile: . The car has been almost everywhere with me including a round trip from Virginia to Minnesota.

10/03 build, bought 3/05 with 11k on the clock, about 26,600 miles on him now!

my last car had about 175k on it, and it ran a little smoother :/ and it was 14 years old.

 

well i bought mine on september 20, 2002 in new york since the dealer here in michigan was not open yet

with 4 miles on the OD i brought him home and in the matter of one year DESTROYED my 50,000 mile waranty

closing the first year with 54,000 the rest of the years to follow were a little more soft

now im over 110,000 miles and she hasnt missed a beat and still drives strong

i love this car!!!!

 

Poor SB...still pining away??? We really need to get you back in a Miata, girl!!!
